I enjoy watching The Nate Berkus Show on NBC. Nate is a designer that used to be featured on Oprah. She would have him redesign a room in a deserving person’s home and surprise them. He gives out design ideas and offers advice on how to improve rooms in a home. I trust Oprah with TV show hosts, and often watch other shows that feature people she has found.
He presents specialists in the world of art, real estate, and antiques. Often people have outdated features in their home such as odd colored carpet or tile. Nate Berkus will tell them how to work with what they have and update the overall look of these rooms. Recently he offered a warning regarding real estate scams, and how to avoid losing your home to fraud. Receiving advice about these dangerous situations has helped me to be more careful.
I watch the show on my satellite TV from expertsatellite.com, and with my remote I can check the guide and make sure I never miss it. He has given me some very good ideas about changing a few rooms in my home without spending a lot of money. I intend to change the throw cushions on my sofa, and I’m going to paint my living room a nice shade of brown. I’m excited to make these changes to my home.
